While looking out of my window, being a silent part of the playgrounds, passing by the chirpy corridors, listening to the of clatter of folks and spoons, devouring the musical chit chat of the little stars, I often wonder, is this the perfect way, we are nurturing the future? And then, when the dispersal bell rings, all my angels come out with happy faces, singing merrily, looking still afresh even after a whole tiring day, I get my answer. I can see my goal. We have to make this smile a constant part of their persona, through thick and thin, through success and failures, through joys and sorrows, through the battles won and lost, at the end of everything they should come out smiling irrespective of the outcomes.

While stepping into the role of the Principal, I was clear with the vision that how my school will look like in a couple of years but taking the road to achieve that goal was not at all easy. The day to day challenges, the teaching learning environment, the diverse backgrounds of my team as well as my dear children made the target far more attractive. I personally feel that to give out the best to my kids, I need to bring the best out of my team and I have been continuously striving to achieve the same.

Being the micro manager of the school’s day to day chores, I have noticed that the most important aspect of a school’s functioning is how our students feel when they come and go from school. Do they have something fruitful to take back each day? My focus remains there and me and my team, try our level best to motivate our children to inquire, to think, to communicate, to reflect, to take risks, to learn from anyone and everyone, to respect, to reflect and above all, open to accept. Accept failures, accept criticism, accept downfalls.

Being an academician cum administrator, I take shaping a vision of academic success for all my students as well as creating a climate hospitable to education, as my prime purpose. My motto is simple and straight which I share with all my team as well as children.
