GDPS is not a building or another venture for me. Its a complete institution where we do not have our prime motive to create toppers, or machines from where you seek one thing and they answer you five. Rather we focus on creating that holistic environment where our children think before they speak, pause before they act and reflect to improvise and improve. Our job is to provide an atmosphere where they are given ample opportunities to find their inner strengths, their weaknesses and then our team of mentors help them, to polish the strengths and work on weaknesses. We do not want to create a bunch of followers but a chain of leaders.
Here learning an answer is not the criteria to be the best but the ability to find the answer and of course the words to express is the key to learning. We do not confine the child within the four walls rather we let them be free, to be on their own and motivate them to take on us and become a responsible citizen as well as a good human being . We toss the situations in front of them and let them find the right and wrong by themselves. We believe that not only must we be good but we must also be good for something.
We are very much aware that in today’s scenario where all the teaching learning is happening through virtual world and the students have also adjusted and adapted to the same system, going on with the conventional methods is not something that will bring the best in our children. So we are focusing on more and more socializing and one on one contact by having compulsory twice a week activity slots where all the students participate in all kinds of co-curricular activities. Celebrating all small or big events or festivals brings the sense of joy as well as harmony and respect for all beliefs.
Although we have a vast campus of 7.5 acres and all kinds of sports related facilities and infrastructure but still seeing the great potential our state has with which it is bringing laurels to all of us and can bring much more of it, we have decided to come up with one of its kind Indoor Sports Complex where all world class facilities will be provided to the students and they shall be able to harness best out of their potential. All Sports arenas are Olympic size and bear all facilities. And all this is being done with one motive on our mind, to provide a happy learning environment to create happy people who in turn make a happy society and better world. As the best preparation for good work tomorrow is to do good work today.
