Inter House Nukkad Natak Competition.

Guru Dronacharya Public School, Jind, organized an Inter House “Nukkad Natak” competition on November 25, 2023, on the school premises. The theme of the competition was Violence against Women. Students from Grades 9 to 12 participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. In a typical street play style, they moved in a circle, clapping their hands before turning to their audience. They performed scenes that depicted the general attitude towards violence against women, domestic violence, and the psychological trauma faced by women because of discrimination.
Their crisp dialogues and gestures held everyone spellbound. They conveyed a powerful message through their performance. The judge Ms. Ashu Rathore Gupta was so mesmerized by the performances of all the participants that she had a challenging time picking out the winners.
The Principal appreciated and said that through this unique exposure, not only did it enlighten them on aspects of self-reliance and teamwork but sensitised the students to the conception of how they respect the girls and women. At the end of the event Principal Madam announced the result and awarded them with certificates . Overall the program was wonderful.
