CBSE organized a one-day Capacity Building Programme on NEP at Guru Dronacharya Public School, Jind on 4th November 2023. The workshop was conducted by CBSE Master Trainers, Ms. Pooja Chhabra and Ms. Ritu Singla. The program started with lamp lighting ceremony conducted by the Master Trainers along with the Principal, Ms. Ashu Rathore Gupta, of the host school. The objective of the workshop was to provide a platform to learn, and share knowledge of the system. Total 37 teachers, including some teachers from different schools, attended the workshop with the aim of gaining a better understanding of the NEP , which has been evolved and successfully implemented or about to get implemented by CBSE. The workshop commenced with an insightful activity, which set the tone for the rest of the workshop. Teachers not only explored their knowledge of the system but also clarified their doubts regarding different terms, in order to have a better understanding of the different domains of learning. Ms.Ritu Singla and Ms. Pooja Chhabra elucidated upon the importance of honing the abilities, attitudes, and aptitudes of the students, which in turn would ensure lifelong learning. The workshop included a few more activities, leaving the teachers with a firm conviction in the system of NEP. Ms. Pooja Chhabra and Ms.Ritu Singla academic excellence and abundance of knowledge about the NEP served as a guiding force for the teachers, who affirmed their commitment to spreading their knowledge about this system in their respective schools as well. They also shared their belief that individual development leads to national development, if the teachers are ready to ignite and channelize the hidden potential in the youth of the country.
