Guru Dronacharya Public School celebrated the “Dussehra” festival on October 23rd, 2023, in the school campus. Students from grades 3 and 5 presented a skit on Dussehra with the theme Seeta Haran. The students played the roles of Rama, Sita, Lakshman, and Ravana, depicting a small part of the Ramayana – Sita Haran. Sarika from grade 4 delivered a speech on Dussehra, after that all the students went to the ground and set the effigy on fire. The whole atmosphere was filled with the slogan, “Shri Ram Chandra ki Jai.” All the students were happy.
The SMC member, Mr. Piyush Bansal, and the Principal, Mrs. Ashu Rathore Gupta, graced the program. The Principal explained to us about Dussehra. This festival signifies the victory good over evil and she wished well to all the children and staff. The conference hall and later the playground was filled with joy.
