The Women and Child Development Department organised a Painting Competition as well as a workshop on “POCSO, Child Development and Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao at Guru Dronacharya Public School on 5th(Thursday ) & 6th October, 2023 (Friday).For the workshop the special guests were District Program Officer of Women and Child Development Ms. Seema Pradhan, Protection Officer of Women and Child Development Mr. Vijay Godara, Counsellor Ms. Mamta Sharma and Principal Ms. Ashu Rathore. At this workshop students from Grade 1 to 12 and all the staff took part. More than 400 Children attended the program. The basic objective of the workshop was to make the students aware about the value of girl education, their health and safety. The students were also provided by the refreshments at the end of the event and the winners of the painting competition were felicitated by the guests at the conclusion of the event on October 6th. The Principal requested the Officials to conduct more of such programs to create awareness and thanked them for their untiring efforts.
