GURU DRONACHARYA PUBLIC SCHOOL known for its innovative ideas, where all the students of Grade VI-VIII had an opportunity to learn and explore themselves in the Inter-House Mime Act competition that was conducted on 24 May, 2023 in the school premises on the themes, “Acid Attack & Human Life Cycle”.
Mime is an art of portraying a character, mood,idea or narration by gestures and bodily movements.
The competition was judged under the criteria facial expressions, acting skills, presentation and the overall effects.
The contestants spellbound and enthralled the audience with their performance that displayed skills beyond their age. In as pan of a few minutes, each contestant captured the entire scenario assigned to him/her convincingly and professionally. Overall, it was a great show which gave our judge Ms. Sunita a very tough time on deciding the winners of the show and coming to a conclusion.
The budding theater artists of GDPS fulfilled their roles to the fullest which makes everyone a winner.
The Principal, Ms Ashu Rathore Gupta congratulated all the participants and addressed all with her motivational words.
All in all, It was a wonderful Mime Show.
