Students of Junior Wing and Middle Wing of Guru Dronacharya Public School Jind donned their ‘Chef Caps’ to exhibit their culinary skills in ‘Cooking Without Fire’. This Inter House Competition was organised on 6th May 2023 in school auditorium . Children participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. They prepared healthy dishes like Sandwiches, Salad, Cakes, Lemonade and many more using easy and quick recipes. They showed their dishes in an artistic and aesthetic way which was most appealing. Dishes were judged by Ms.Sunidhi which was actually a difficult task seeing the fabulous efforts put in equally by all the teams. The Chairman Sir Mr.Arvind Bansal and The Principal,Ms.Ashu Rathore Gupta interacted with the budding chefs to find out the ingredients of the recipes, nutritional value and the historical significance of the dishes prepared by them.First position was secured by Karan House closely followed by Eklavya House which bagged the second position. The third position was shared by Bheem House . The event not only provided a platform for the students to foster their creativity and decision making skills but also helped them explore their hidden talents and discover new areas of interest.
