Republic Day is our National Festival, commemorating the adoption of the Constitution of India on January 26, 1950. It is an occasion to celebrate India’s democratic values and its commitment to unity, peace, and progress. At GDPS, Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. On the day of the celebration, the students assembled in the school ground, carrying the national flag and singing patriotic songs. Flag hoisting ceremony was organized and the national anthem was sung with pride. Honorable principal madam delivered a speech on the significance of the day and its importance for the nation. The students then marched around the school grounds, displaying their patriotism.The school organized various competitions to commemorate the day. The students performed the dance, songs, and skits to express their feelings of patriotism and love for their nation. At the end of the celebrations, the students and teachers come together to share sweets and exchange greetings. The celebration of Republic Day was a vivid reminder of the importance of the day and its significance for the nation.
